VERSE: Psalm 118:6, “The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do unto me?”
What a promise! God is on your side, and He has never lost a battle! The devil will send things in your path to try to cause you to fear, but you are victorious! Don’t let the devil trick you into believing that you are fighting the battle. The battle isn’t yours it belongs to the Lord. Don’t be afraid of anything. God is on your side, and no one or thing can defeat you. Keep your focus on God, His power, His promises, His grace, His mercy, and His love. Remember that He is always looking. He never stops watching over you and He has a plan for you to prosper you and to give you a hope (Jeremiah 29:11). He is always suppling your needs and will always give you strength to do what He asks (Philippians 4:13,19). Don’t let fear creep into your day. It has no place in your heart, mind, or plans. Give fear a boot by kicking your faith in gear and letting God kick your troubles and your worries to the curb. Let His love, joy, and peace fill your heart. Remember, Jesus loves you. You are loved.
Prayer: Lord, teach me to trust You more. Give me a faith that is strong, bold, and always on the job. Help me to keep my focus on You and to never waiver. Give me the peace and joy that only You can give. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
