VERSE: John 16:33 – “These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.”
The devil isn’t going to stop trying to discourage and defeat you. However, the devil can only gain the victory if you allow him to do so because greater is He that is in you than he that is in the world (I John 4:4). Since Jesus lives in us and has overcome the world then we, too, are overcomers. Through Jesus living inside us, we can be sure that anything the devil throws at us will be unsuccessful as we allow Jesus to fight our battles. You have been given peace through Jesus and no matter what your circumstances, you can remain peaceful and joyous. You can always choose Jesus and allow His peace to fill you. Choose Jesus today and feel His peace and love. Jesus loves you. You are loved.
