Song: “My Tribute”
Andrae Crouch

How can I say thanks
For all the things You’ve done for me?
Things so undeserved
Yet You gave to prove Your love to me
The voices of a million angels
Could not express my gratitude
All that I am
And ever hope to be
I owe it all to Thee

To God…Be the glory
To God…Be the glory
To God…Be the glory
For the things He has done

With His Blood He has saved me
With His power He has raised me
To God be the glory
For the things He has done

Just let me live my life
And let it pleasing, Lord to Thee
And should I gain any praise
Let it go to Calvary

To God…Be the glory
To God…Be the glory
To God…Be the glory
For the things He has do

VERSE:  Philippians 1:21, “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain.”

Jesus bought our salvation with the price of His blood.  He has chosen to live within the redeemed and to lead, guide and direct them.  Your life is meant to be a living testimony of the Most High God that dwells within you.  Let the story that God writes upon your heart be the story that your life tells.  Let every work, every step, every thought, and every action display the goodness of God, His transforming power in your life, and the love that Jesus has for all around you.  Let His story be your story.  Make the most of your time here, serving Christ diligently and seeking a close and more meaningful relationship with Him.  Bring Him glory here and when your life here shall cease, you will receive your heavenly reward and gain life eternal.  Remember Jesus loves you.  You are loved.

Prayer:  Oh Lord, let my story be Your story.  Let the legacy I leave be Your legacy.  May my footsteps lead others to You.  Mold me and make me to be more of what You would have me to be.  Teach me to walk in Your ways, to speak with Your Words, Your heart and Your love.  Give me a desire to serve You fully and to surrender to You completely.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

*Sunday and Wednesday encouragements are written for our friends in Assisted Living, who we are unable to see regularly, due to COVID. We pray they are a blessing for you as well!
