VERSE: I Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people that ye should shew forth the praises of Him who hath called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”
You are so very special. God made you in His image. He gave you a purpose on this earth. He set you aside for His glory and placed His light in you. You aren’t here by accident. God carefully and wonderfully made and kept you. He made you exactly like you are and has given you the directions to praise Him. You can praise Him like no one else. No one else has your testimony or has received all the exact blessings you have been given. No one has walked in your footsteps. He has saved those just for you. As you look at yourself today, know that you are wonderfully and uniquely qualified to praise the Lord. So, don’t waste another minute. Lift your hands in praise. Raise your voice in praise. Sing praises unto the King of Kings and Lord of Lords, your personal Savior. Lift up your head and be proud of whose you are. Share His light with others and demonstrate His love through your actions and your words. Remember Jesus loves you. You are loved!
Prayer: Oh, how You love me, Lord. What a marvelous honor it is to serve You and to praise You. Lord, thank you for making me special. Thank you for loving me like no other. Thank you for the personal way in which you care for me, protect me and provide for me. I love You, Lord. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
