VERSE: Romans 6:23, “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
Jesus is the perfect gift. He is the greatest gift and He is the gift that keeps on giving. The gift Jesus gives is His salvation. It was bought and paid for by His own sinless perfect blood He willingly shed on the cross of Calvary. This gift is unique in that it is one of a kind yet freely given to all. Not only is it unique but it is also perfect and the only acceptable payment for sin. And, it is yours for the asking. Jesus loves you so much that He, who knew no sin, became sin for you that you might be made the righteous of God in Jesus (II Corinthians 5:21). All you must do is admit you are sinner in need of a Savior. Believe in the only begotten Son of God as the only payment for your sins. Place your trust in Him to wash away your sins by asking Him to do so. Once you ask Him into your heart, confess Him as Lord and allow Him to lead, guide and direct you. Remember Jesus loves you. You are loved.
Prayer: Jesus I love You. I thank You for saving my soul. Fill me to overflowing with your presence. Lead me and direct me in your ways. Increase my faith, Lord, and grant me wisdom to live close to you. Walk with me and talk with me each day. Help me to always be found doing your will. In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.
