Song: “Joy Unspeakable”
Barney E. Warren

I have found His grace is all complete,
He supplieth every need;
While I sit and learn at Jesus’ feet,
I am free, yes, free indeed.

REFRAIN: It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Full of glory, full of glory;
It is joy unspeakable and full of glory,
Oh, the half has never yet been told.

I have found the pleasure I once craved,
It is joy and peace within;
What a wondrous blessing, I am saved
From the awful gulf of sin. [Refrain]

I have found that hope so bright and clear,
Living in the realm of grace;
Oh, the Savior’s presence is so near,
I can see His smiling face. [Refrain]

I have found the joy no tongue can tell,
How its waves of glory roll;
It is like a great o’erflowing well,
Springing up within my soul. [Refrain]

VERSE:  Psalm 118:14, “The LORD is my strength and song, and is become my salvation.”

Life can be difficult when you try living it within your own strength and power.  But when you reach out to Jesus and place your trust in Him you will find that He will give you the strength you need to live each day.  You will be able to live it and not just endure it because Jesus came that you might have life and have it more abundantly (John 10:10).  When you look to Jesus to supply your every need, as He promises (Philippians 4:19), you will never be disappointed.  He will give you joy during your trial.  It is the peace you get from living in the Will of God that gives you the peace you need to live a joyous, prosperous life.  It is His peace that produces a song in your heart and a spring in your step.  All you need comes from the LORD.  He will never leave you nor forsake you (Hebrews 13:5).  He is your strength, your song and your salvation.  Sing praises unto the Lord!  Jesus loves you.  You are loved.

Prayer:  Lord, I sing your praises!  I thank you for your watch care over me, your love for me and the amazing blessings with which you fill my life.   Help me to be a light always and especially during the storms of my life.  Remind me, Dear Lord, that You are always in control and always working for my good.  Lord, I love you and praise you.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

*Sunday and Wednesday encouragements are written for our friends in Assisted Living, who we are unable to see regularly, due to COVID. We pray they are a blessing for you as well!
