Song: “God Will Take Care of You”
Civilla Martin

Be not dismayed whate’er betide,
God will take care of you;
Beneath his wings of love abide,
God will take care of you.

Refrain:
God will take care of you,
Through ev’ry day,
O’er all the way;
He will take care of you,
God will take care of you.

Through days of toil when heart does fail,
God will take care of you;
When dangers fierce your path assail,
Go will take care of you. [Refrain]

All you may need he will provide,
God will take care of you;
Nothing you ask will be denied,
God will take care of you. [Refrain]

No matter what may be the test,
God will take care of you;
Lean, weary one, upon his breast,
God will take care of you. [Refrain]

VERSE:  Joshua 1:9, “Have not I commanded thee?  Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed:  for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.”

You have a personal relationship with God.  The Lord your God is with you, today and always.  This truth is comforting to your heart.  Regardless of your circumstances, God is there.  What does this mean for you?  It means that no matter what you are facing, you are not facing it alone.  It means that no matter what comes your way, God has allowed it and God is prepared to assist you through it.  This is a promise from God!  You are victorious through Christ!  So, open your heart and believe His Word.  Put a smile on your face and embrace your day.  Bask in the truth that God is in control and He is taking care of you!  Jesus loves you.  You are loved.

Prayer:  Our kind and most gracious, all knowing and all-powerful God, thank you for loving me.  Thank you for never leaving me and for always providing all my needs.  Help me to trust you more and to show you to others by my attitude, my joy and my actions.  Give me the peace that trusting you brings.  In Jesus’ name I pray, Amen.

*Sunday and Wednesday encouragements are written for our friends in Assisted Living, who we are unable to see regularly, due to COVID. We pray they are a blessing for you as well!
