Hello Friends,

As I sit and contemplate the happenings scheduled for today, I am struck by the goal the Apostle Paul had to allow everything in his life to be spent for the expansion of God’s Kingdom.  Reading today’s Bible Bit, “Let Your Life Testify of the Gospel of Christ” my heart was convicted.  Paul viewed his calling as a gift from God and a privilege.  Oh, how I hope today will be the day that my life, desires, will, and purpose will be fully engulfed in a whole-hearted pursuit of the will of God for my life.  I pray that my flesh is crucified and that my heart’s desire is to be planted firmly in the center of God’s will.

What would that look like for my day?  It would mean doing mundane tasks with the joy and fervor of knowing that God was in them; glorified by them, and that the Kingdom of God was being increased because of the work God allows me to do.  It would resemble a purposeful strategy of living peacefully with all men, even those that grate on my nerves, or purpose/y hurt me. It would mean complete surrender and full trust in God knowing that He couldn’t fail. It would mean following God instead of going my own way.

Now that I know what it looks like for me, I am praying for the courage and strength to live my day exactly as He has planned.  I am trusting for God to give me His words, and to soften my heart to see others as He sees them.  Yes, today will be a great day if only I allow Him to have His perfect will for my life and to have complete control over my day.

I pray that you, along with me, find the peace of perfect surrender and the joy unspeakable and full of glory that following instead of leading will bring today.  Join me here tomorrow to see just how my day unfolded.   Please send me an email at kim@watwm.org and let me know how your day went. Friends, we all get by with a little help from our friends, so your encouragement goes a long way to enlarge the Kingdom.  Go forth and surrender.

In His Service,
Kimmy
