Our Statement of Faith We
believe the Holy Scriptures are the inerrant Word of God. (John
1:1, II Timothy 3:16)
We believe that all things were created by God. (Colossians 1:16, John 1:3) We believe in the triune God, God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Matthew 28:19) We believe in the virgin birth of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 1:23) We believe that Jesus was wholly God and wholly man. (Romans 8:3, Philippians 2:6-7) We believe that there is a literal hell. (Matthew 10:28) We believe that there is a literal heaven. (Matthew 6:20) We believe that none are righteous and all are in need of a Saviour. (Romans 3:10, Revelation 20:15) We believe that Jesus lived a sinless life, died on the cross of Calvary and rose victorious the third day. (I Corinthians 15:3-4, I Peter 3:18, II Corinthians 5:21) We believe that salvation is possible only through Jesus Christ and it is His finished work on Calvary that pays our penalty for sin. (John 14:6, I Peter 1:18-21, I Corinthians 7:23) We believe that salvation is available to everyone. (Romans 10:13) We believe that salvation is free. (Ephesians 2:8-9) We believe that the Holy Spirit comes to dwell in our hearts at the time of salvation. (John 14:16) We believe the Holy Spirit will teach you and guide you in the way that you should go. (John 14:26) We believe that Christians are dead to sin and alive in Christ. (Romans 6:11, II Corinthians 5:17) We believe that Christians are to live Holy separated lives before man and God. (Romans 6:12-18, I Peter 1:15-16, Titus 2:14 and I Peter 2:19) We believe that Jesus Christ is coming back again to take His children home to heaven. (I Thessalonians 4:15-16) |
